Fuuuuck fake loading screens that take ages. I'm not here to stare at pointless moving lights like a lump, m8.
241/?

The game blatantly cheating sure isn't going to win me over.
243/?

Wow, someone sure liked Domekeeper.
244/?

This one went from "This could be interesting" straight to "It's not. It's really not"
245/?

A time waster that insists on being displayed over the top of everything else >:(
246/?

Shove your tiny text where no one can fuckin' read it.
Not that I can read it, 'cause it's tiny, and in a fancy font that makes it harder to read.
247/?

I should not have to open and close the options menu something like 8 times to try and adjust the music sound level because it doesn't apply any changes until after closing the options menu. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
248/?

This next demo immediately tried to access the internet for some reason, went to an intro instead of letting me change the sound settings to not be loud, had no sound when I was in the sound settings menu, and when I finally got into the game, had even smaller text than most of the tiny text I've been complaining about.
Genuinely wanna smack someone over this.
249/?

What I might have to do to fucking read the tiny text.
249/?

What's lucky number 250 gonna be? Am I gonna wanna blow my fuckin' head off, or will it be something good for an apparently rare change?

starts eyeing the sandwich press again
250/?

Mmmm, yummy head sandwich....
251/?

Tiny text detected! Launching nuke!
253/?

Game: Find a thing!
Me: Can I examine things to see which is the one I need?
Game: No.
254/?

Game: You must do this thing to not lose.
Me: Okay, how long does that take?
Game: The shortest method takes a day and a half.
Nope fuck that not doing it
255/?

Why would someone make a city builder in RPGmaker?
256/?

Not even gonna try the actual gameplay on this one, menu's written in tiny text.
257/?

Odd, I think I've encountered this one before.
Still not interested.
260/?

Set the audio way down low. Hit save. Start new game. Audio immediately becomes loud.
Pressing escape does nothing. No menus, no options.
That's a paddling.
261/?

"We included pronunciation guides for words people might not know!"
Did you make sure the guides are correct?
"We did not. Also the pieces of our puzzles that require correct positioning sometimes move on their own without observable consistent behaviour."
262/?

A puzzle game, but the puzzles are presented in a format similar to finding some individual sheets in a box of someone's old things at a junk sale with no explanation.
263/?

What if Majesty's good bits were toned down, and had new irritations added?
Well, I'd not enjoy it.
Also: TINY TEXT. RELEASE THE... what's in the kennels tonight? Anyone want to make a suggestion?
264/?

Oh that's a new one. Tiny text surrounded by bright colour with high bloom.
Plus tiny icons drawn in thin lines with the high bloom thing again.
265/?

Tiny text again, but this time with UI scaling options!
The UI scaling crunches the text so that it's hard to read anyway.
Then the game tries to connect to a server to play the demo offline, and hangs.
266/?

No licences? You download over 16 gigabytes and then have the temerity to say no licences?
I crave violence.
268/?

Overly repetitive gameplay with inconsistent controls and dodginess as to when I can hit enemies vs when they can hit me
269/?

Finally, some good fucking game.
It's REPLACED!
You're an AI in a human body, trying to survive a post nuclear apocalyptic America in alt-1980s. Shit's so stylish, combat mostly feels good, I'd like if dodged enemy shots could hit the enemy behind me, the finishers are so badarse.
I've wishlisted this and even reviewed the demo positively.
I figure it probably plays better on a controller, gotta occasionally switch how I use the keyboard for this one.

REPLACED on Steam

Expose the sinister secrets of Phoenix Corporation as R.E.A.C.H., an AI trapped in a human body. Set in an alternate 1980s America scarred by nuclear catastrophe, navigate a dark cyberpunk thriller in this narrative-driven 2.5D platformer blending cinematic exploration with fluid, free-flow action.

Another dud, but at least I noticed how I screwed up my thread.
272/?

Well I guess you could try to sell a bare bones clicker with nothing to really draw interest to it, but I'm not going to buy it.
273/?

Game: It is vitally important that you have this information.
Me: So give it to me?
Game: No. Except for this bit you might almost be able to make out if you squint.
275/?

Gi-- I mean Mirthwood!
A bit grimmer than Stardew Valley given the intro and THE RATS, and set in a more medieval fantasy setting, and you have to worry about not starving. BUT you can hire people to work for you! And the social system is more complex! And I have a bit of trouble understanding the inventory system 'cause it'll show plenty of slots but then say "You can't carry more materials when I try to pick up a rock. And also I'm not 100% sure on sight about what's gatherable/usable.
276/?

Machine Lord Zero

@MachineLordZero@mastodon.social

While hiring people is available in the demo, I didn't touch it 'cause I didn't know how it worked and I haven't found how to view/review tutorial pages yet.

Y'know how I know I don't matter? An entire chunk of this thread was me putting my head in a sandwich press. Nobody reacted at all.
