Main interests: QRP CW and POTA. I have been a ham since 1980 and also operate using the call sign VA2NB, from my cottage in QC.
It's year end and that means ARRL Straight Key Night ! Our local QRP club (Ottawa Valley QRP Society) have a tradition of meeting up on 2m/70cm/6m CW on New Years eve to participate in a local VHF/UHF SKN. My choice of instruments for this years SKN is my 1940 McElroy Model 600 Deluxe Bug with Marbelite finish. This is a beautiful bug to use on the air and it has special meaning for me as it was a gift from my dear friend Ken, WA8REI (SK). #SKN #CW #QRP
