"Prototaxites fossils are structurally and chemically
distinct from extinct and extant Fungi"

And:

I just finished watching the "Urusei Yatsura" (2022) series (4 seasons).
Pretty sure this will be the end of it, since it ended with the "Kanketsuhen"/"Final Story" plot, which I believe was the end of the manga, and was the plot of the 5th movie.
The series appears to follow the manga more closely than the old series, although I haven't actually read the manga, though I've flipped through it (I have a Japanese copy).
I did like it, although looking over it, I am left with a little bit of "Why would you make this, when there's a perfectly good 196-episode original series, 6 movies, and several OVAs that cover the same material, and include extra stuff as well..?"
The new music is good though. It is HD and widescreen of course, and the animation style is pretty nice. It's quality work. I am even impressed with how well the new voice actors captured the characters.
But it does feel like it's all in the service of recreating a thing that already existed.
Surely, with all the manga out there, there is new stuff -- even new SF/fantasy/horror -- to adapt..?
But to be fair, I am a sucker for anything UY, so of course I bought all four seasons on Blu-Ray. And maybe that is why.
