Pretty sure it's Jimmy/Ramon again. They're getting more creative with instances and usernames since their original names are automatic blocks for like the entire fediverse. Blocking now.

I haven't encountered them before. Is there some lore I should be aware of?

There are many. Just look at the user summary. If they have less than 2 posts and around 200 friends and almost no followers, then that's Jimmy NoNards.

It turns out Jimmy is a surprisingly useful search term here, and I can agree he'd be an immediate killfile.

I think I need a little more first, though- getting an account on a new service and immediately following a bunch of people isn't really unique behaviour, and I'm pretty generous with follow backs if someone isn't obviously ... problematic, shall we say?

I'm going to watch this account with caution- if they're just an anime fan then whatever, but if you're right they'll get blocked like it was 1995 again.
