The image captures a moment at Ksar Ouled Soltane, a fortified granary in southern Tunisia

It was built by Berber communities in 15th Century AD, on a hilltop to protect it from raids. The structure is made up of ghorfas (multi-storey vaulted granary cells) arranged around two courtyards.

The well-preserved building is now a popular tourist destination.

Ksar Ouled Soltane appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, as the setting for the slave quarters of Mos Espa.
