Today’s #geocaching hike:

- 4 miles

- 1,200 feet elevation gain/loss

- 6 cache finds, including 3 puzzle caches and 2 that had not been seen for over a year

- Forgot to fill my water bottle. Just as I drank my last drop, I encountered an oasis: a support stop for today’s half-marathon! They had water, snacks, electrolytes. They kindly shared some water with me. Thanks, runners!

- Also lots of mountain bikers on the same trail. One aggro, all the rest very considerate. They’d call out “3 more behind me!” which was so helpful.
