I've been playing #Coromon, which is heavily influenced by the #Pokemon franchise. And boy does it show. It really feels like and old PC game trying to emulate a popular franchise. It's like the "We have [Insert Name] at home" meme. It gives me more respect for the simplistic design philosophy that Nintendo has, as there are some questionable design decisions with Coromon. The character designs are uninspired. The level design is a mess. But hey, it's a good way to pass the time at work.
