Ich baue gerade meinen eigenen Static Site Generator für meine Website und es macht wirklich Spaß, die volle Kontrolle zu haben. 
Mit sehr vielen Learnings, die ich durch 11ty und Astro habe. Bei mir steht vor allem die Mehrsprachigkeit (Englisch/Deutsch) im Fokus.
Den Builder schreibe ich in TypeScript und lasse ihn mit Bun ausführen.
