The most respect I've lost hasn't been for "conservatives" over the last 10 years. They've consistently shown their true color, mobilized, and marshalled their power to usher in a regressive agenda, possibly leading to the next world war - assisted and indulged by a host of corporatist sycophants and 'moderates' seeking to enrich themselves. They've never claimed to be anything different.
It's been the ones who stuck their heads in the ground and left that tiny 2-3% of us to carry the fight.
