My question: is a browser-generated AI summary more helpful than just the above-the-fold title of an article, or the first sentence?

Here’s an example. See the attached screenshots to see nrdc.org/stories/old-cow-new-t as it (1) appears on my browser, and (2) what shows up when I smash iOS Firefox’s TLDR button.

Which one is more helpful, and makes you want to read the article?

For me, I choose #2. And that’s why I’m glad Firefox is experimenting with this stuff.
