In answering questions from law students at CUNY today, Sotomayor said there are three "critical skills" students absolutely need to learn: writing, public speaking, and ... AI??

“You should not be graduating without taking an AI course,” she said. And that using it is explicitly "not cheating."

It's extremely rare for #SCOTUS to say why they deny cert. Indeed, they didn't do so here.

I truly understand why folks are worried. I wrote one of the first essays in the #FOSS community ever written on this (in late 2021/early 2022):
