I've been running a #Pathfinder game over the last year, and last session I think I laughed harder than I ever have in a #TTRPG game.
Goblins had been attacking travelers on the road so the party tracked down their lair. While inside they found a group of hobgoblins that were also fighting the goblins.
After helping the hobgoblins they learned the leader, named Algrod, was here searching for an artifact.
The players quickly took a liking to Algrod and agreed to help him find the artifact... 1/4

...After clearing the lair and securing the artifact, Algrod pointed out that they should leave quickly in case more goblins return to the lair. The players said they'll follow Algrod out, so he started marching to the exit.
When the party first arrived, they discovered the goblins had set some traps. They found two of them, but never ended up inspecting or going through one of the doors.
