You know I’ve only just clocked that Baldur’s Gate 3 shows you enemy hit points at all times and it doesn’t take away from combat at all it kind of only enhances it (because who to target is a really important choice) and I’m wondering why it feels anathema to show or reveal hit points in tabletop DnD (read: action fantasy games generally)
