This statement is incredibly sexist and only a deluded (drug-affected) techbro could have made it … but it's also completely illogical.
Any change in labour/employment patterns won't disadvantage women electorally. Everyone has precisely one vote.
If the women are going to be out of a job, well they'll have more spare time to get to the voting booth. Those blue-collar men might have to work an overtime shift and not be able to make it.
