which is why we never seem to have the money to spend on things that would help people and everyone wants, but we apparently have the money to spend on completely pointless warfare - b/c ppl in power are quite willing to print money for war that gives them control over real resources. the interesting thing about war is that it costs real resources too. and that's how you can actually spend out, when you lose people and physical objects.
