Elon Musk’s X has submitted a plan to the EU Commission explaining how it proposes to change its “blue checkmark system" to be in compliance with rules outlawing deceptive design.

A commission spokesperson confirmed that X had submitted “remedies” but did not reveal details.

The deadline for X to pay the €120 million is Monday. 1/4

The other obligations X was found to have breached have a longer compliance timeline of 28 April.

This includes transparency obligations for ad repositories and researchers.
