I just got done running my #ttrpg for a couple of randos. The one who had only played DnD before said, "This is what I imagined roleplaying to be".

So, that's it. Job done. Mission accomplished.

I spent the last few days trying to choose a Discord alternative. I think a handful of people are finally ready to jump ship. I tried matrix a bit but wasn't super into it. I have more or less landed on #irc

For the purposes of building my #ttrpg empire, is there an existing network that I should join or is self-host about the same for this topic? I just need to establish "some place" to direct people that want to participate.
