One of my favorite images ever. "Dragon resting its head on the lap of a woman" by Anton Robert Leinweber, 1912.

There are so many elements to this that I just find delightful. The woman's expression, the dragon's face, the way one leg is curled under. I want to know their story.

And actually I have looked at this many times and only just noticed a man climbing the cliff behind them.

I know, right? I think the artist must have used a dog for reference because the pose is impeccable.

Yeah It would not surprise me if that is how they did it. I use my dog all the time for ref then just scale her up because she small.
