I have an absolutely heartbreaking idea for a side story in my #Darkon campaign at some point.

Basically the realm of Lamordia is based on Frankenstein, and one of the major NPCs in my current campaign is the exiled daughter of the ruler of that realm. Her backstory is that her father was overthrown by the equivalent of Victor Frankenstein, and I'm writing her out of the current story by having her meet up with a group of refugees from her homeland who are trying to win it back.

So the idea is the party goes to help her with this and in the process they meet up with Adam who is one of Dr. Mordenheim's creations. The Frankenstein's monster character.

The characters all think that the Darklord of this place is the doctor, but it's actually the monster.
