For YEARS I've only used the youtube.com/feed/subscriptions page - i.e. never interacting with the algorithmn, ignoring all recommends, just seeing exactly what I want to see.

Today, it seems Youtube has deemed it useful to me to change that page so that the linear list is now entirely hidden without scrolling. It now shows an algorithm-driven "Most relevant" list, and some shorts.

Does anyone know a way to get back a page with just the linear set of videos from subscribed channels?

I subscribe to YouTube through my feed reader. Every channel has a hidden RSS feed.

If this works for you, I can dig out how to do it. Let me know.
