AI assisted coding has the potential to break IT. Firstly, it is questionable whether it is really cost-effective to leave the coding to AI and then invest in human code review. It's more likely, that human review will be cut back on or done away with - which will inevitably compromise security.

Additionally, AI is meant to replace entry-level IT jobs, which leads to the question where to get senior-level IT staff from, when they're not more IT entry-level jobs to gain experience?

Nothing new for Apartheid Elon.

and yet continue to work there? must be paid extremely well.

He's got the resources to keep his vanity project afloat indefinitely. He'd rather do that than admit his project is pointless crap.

perhaps if they worked longer hours and maybe slept at the office they could do better.

And smile more.

who would have thought feeding your AI a loop of Russian propaganda and Nazi disinformation would result in a reliable product. Not to mention constantly tweaking it so it agrees with your fascist opinions. 🤷🏽‍♀️
