This week at CSCCE, we’re preparing for two upcoming training courses and continuing some client projects. We’re also hosting a community book club - a new piece of programming that we’re excited to pilot!
Next week, we’ll be kicking off our 17th general registration cohort of Scientific Community Engagement Fundamentals: https://www.cscce.org/trainings/cef/

CSCCE
Scientific Community Engagement Fundamentals - CSCCEScientific Community Engagement Fundamentals is an online modular training from the CSCCE for scientific community managers.
We’ve also offered this training privately over the years, including for groups of grantees of related programs and to deliver the course during work hours in Australia / NZ…
…and we’ve created a six-session “introduction to community engagement” training for clients, that combines three lessons and three office hours to directly apply key concepts to their projects.
We also offer private cohorts of our other trainings, and next week we’ll welcome a new private group of learners into our Project Management for Scientists Bootcamp (PMBs): https://www.cscce.org/trainings/project-management-for-scientists/
CSCCE
Project Management for Scientists Bootcamp (PMB) - CSCCEProject Management for Scientists is an online training from the CSCCE for community managers and project leaders in STEM.
This is the first of several private PMB cohorts happening “behind-the-scenes” at CSCCE this year - and if you’re interested in learning more about doing something like this for your team, department, or community, let us know!
You can find out more about our client services (including some of the groups we’ve worked with to date and the kinds of consultancy we offer) on the CSCCE website: https://www.cscce.org/consultancy/

CSCCE
Consultancy - CSCCEWe offer consultancy to a growing number of organizations that host or fund scientific communities, and can create custom training options.
On Wednesday this week, we’re hosting a community book club, facilitated by community member (and recently CSCCE-certified community manager!) Jody Peters: https://www.cscce.org/2026/02/10/cscce-community-book-club-the-five-dysfunctions-of-a-team/
