We're moving offices soon and they have literally put engineering in a room in the middle of the building with no windows and no doors.

Meanwhile the people that are never in the office have offices with floor to ceiling windows...

The subtlety is deafening ...

 "You're the engineers, if there needs to be doors for use cases like getting in or out of your office, YOU design it. We'll make it happen! As long as it's reasonable - say, $100, with anything over that coming out of the coffee fund."
