Hey #Reticulum hobbyists and dev folks. I just installed the "Reticulum Mesh Chat" on my Mac OS and need to learn how to share my account info publicly (and what not to share) and if there are any users up for chatting to help me see this in the wild working. Any advice for newbie getting started welcome.

OK here is my LXMF address and I'll add it into my Mastodon bio too while I'm at it:

LXMF Address c72355885808468cace245e407b9d8a4

I have Sideband running, my address is 22ef9fd9323fe1bd8ed825d176f09c85 . So far i have not understood how this works.... 馃槄
#lxmfaddress  for #reticulum

me neither. I can just stare at the network visualization in Reticulum Meshchat for hours though...

I guess my config is not ok... i get/see nothing at all.... Maybe i should RTFM 馃

The principle behind getting everything up and running is similar:

- Install python & pip
- Install rns & optionally lxmf
- Install some sort of browser - NomadNet or MeshChatX comes to mind

Open config file in .reticulum folder and add interfaces - usually a couple of TCP interfaces to get started, but once you're online (inline?) many nodes will show additional interfaces you can use.

There are some in the guide :)

MeshChatX has interface auto-discovery too, so that makes it easier.

Have fun!
