This is the PERFECT way to describe the GM and I think it's the same vibe that offers when narrating his books. It's likely why I love those so much also! 
It's like they are cheekily taunting the characters with "What's the worst that could happen?"

Noah Gervais@DominicTarason I have a theory that the GM Voice has something to do with it. She's not just nonjudgemental, she has this conspiratorial almost gleeful quality when talking about bad outcomes and evil things. In a total void, I think the number would be lower, but the GM makes evil fun.
